For better or for worse, I'm a fan of minimalism, but it has to just work . That's not the case currently - I'm finding this very frustrating. -I made a page, then registered, but there's no way to associate a previously made page to an ac

http://www.amazon.com/Why-we-nap-STAMPI/dp/0817634622 I always link to this source; in a subject full of anecdotes and misinformation, this book is essential for providing substantial and concrete scientific results.

How is there an entire class devoted to "Rule 5: Put stylesheets at the top"? Yes, I clicked through the slides; it took 2 minutes.

I don't think that cancelling a major automatically means that all liberal arts classes are nonexistent. I majored in math and cs, but went to France for a term, and took philosophy, drawing, music, history, and comparative literature. I do

Well, what I'm saying is that, knowing roughly how to make duck confit but being unsure of the proportions, I was able to find out what I needed to know easily. You, on the other hand, weren't able to find out something you already knew;

With only three clicks, using the suggested ingredients, I removed one ingredient, added two others, and was told the proportions automatically. Notepad neither suggested the alternatives nor updated the amounts required.

I typed in duck confit, and was quickly able to remove duck, and add duck legs and duck fat, to the recipe.

A lot of comments here are about what you can't do with this site (with the usual conclusion that therefore the site is useless). Sure, there are some things it doesn't do. It doesn't teach you how to cook, or do your shopping, or do your h

The author's attribute the effect of sibling spacing in part on the attention the older sibling receives in its youngest years. This, at least, would not be changed by skipping grades.

Is it at all possible for there to be 5 distinct and unexpected results caused by a single, well-written line of code? You're right that these aren't subtle bugs affecting a large piece of software, but why would you expect that given the t

Loving this. It's very inviting. One small thing - I think the badge map would be more informative and interesting if it had some sort of labels.

Perhaps it's the responsibility of each website using slider.js to degrade gracefully on their own. That seems more appropriate to me. In which case, I don't mind if they don't bother to degrade while demoing their javascript product.

A DVD-by-mail queue makes sense to me. What does "queue" mean in a streaming service, especially one where availability is frequently changing? In fact, DVD-by-mail and streaming services require and invite dramatically different management

You're paying for other features... let's say the cost of Spotify not being P2P increases the price by N dollars per month. The "free" users pay N, paying customers pay $5+N or $10+N. I think it's different to complain that they don't off
