That's to unlock the SIM to start communicating with the network; this is for "screen lock" codes on (typically) smartphones, where the SIM is already unlocked and the phone is already on the network.

You can select a specific view under others with ctrl-shift-click. I don't know anything to help with its over-eagerness to add subviews, though.

I don't think code was verified on launch before 10.8. I believe this because several Apple apps didn't verify (iTunes, and the Safari prerelease), and the only way I could tell was to verify at the command line. (Code with an invalid signa

Uh, so I created a stealth account on my desktop, so I could easily generate a random password. Then logged out, preparing to log back in so the browser would remember my account. But I can't find any way to log back in, only create another
