I would say that I've spent between $30 and $40 at this point, which isn't a lot, but isn't anything to scoff at.

Now that you mention it, I don't know either. As a whole, I'm sure the Android platform is buggier, especially in devices with an OS less than 2.1, but overall I think BlackBerry the OS is buggier. One big problem with Android though, is th

I disagree with Greg 100% on that statement. It has been a real pain working with the Android bluetooth APIs, but the same can be said for the BlackBerry APIs as well. They work great for something that is persistently connected, but since

I would think that Android is a lot better than the BlackBerry, but mostly because I've spent time developing and sleeping with both. The BlackBerry is a serious pain in the ass to develop for, so it has been tough.

Thanks for posting this. I'm glad you've had a great experience so far, and I'm glad you still use the device as much as you do. You're probably our best beta tester! :)

What's with all the hate for WP7? I've used a handful of devices now and they were a real treat to play with. I think it's amazing how they have re-imagined the way people should use their phones. They've been quite innovative with the OS,

Untappd seems like the better of the two. I tried to use Beerby a few times and it was hell. The signup was a pain, and then the app didn't load properly. I wish Untappd was on Android! :(

First off, when you install an application on Android it tells you every permission that an app asks for, i.e.: Location Data Contacts Etc As a developer of mobile apps and a user of both flurry and AdMob, I send them a both user's "data" i

You'll need two phones at the moment, but in the future it's possible we could make the app support multiple devices.

I don't think it's fair of you to comment on the people involved in the execution of this. What do you know about anyone on the WakeMate team?

If you've been following the blog lately you'd know we have been updating quite frequently with important information. I think that everyone is going to be very happy in the very near future.

I'm working on a (hopefully) potential solution to this right now. It may take me months upon months to complete, but if I ever finish it, I think you'll be somewhat impressed.

Another thing, the people who think that bringing down Mastercard is going to help Wikileaks in any way need a serious reality check. Why would anyone do business with someone if there was even a tiny chance that they would get screwed over

I'm really interested in this, and I'm confused as to why people are voting you up. You provided an answer with absolutely no evidence to support what you said and people find the answer either, a) Helpful or b) Interesting. Can you explain

I think you're both right. The reduced use of raw bandwidth is going to be a huge battery saver alone. If you're allowed to download trip data BEFORE leaving on a trip, this will also save a lot of battery, especially if you're in areas wit

The best things I take away from this video: 1. The new Google Maps is coming out in the next few days for Android phones and it looks SLICK. Pure vector graphics when looking at standard map views, which will greatly reduce bandwidth. 2. T

How reliable is this source? I've never heard of Vator TV, but it seems like Groupon is worth a lot more than $2.5b if they're making $50m/month while they're still relatively young.

The frustrating thing about this is that you rarely ever hear about early employees getting filthy rich, even in HUGE companies. This is why starting your own company and going for broke seems much more appealing, as having 10-20x what your

Considering that three of the four major mobile platforms are based on Java, and most enterprise web stuff is also based on Java, I would venture as far as saying this is completely wrong.

If you have ever developed for Android or BlackBerry you would quickly realize that having different screen resolutions and sizes, as well as having different OS versions, isn't that big of a deal. A tiny bit of extra work goes a long way
