My biggest piece of advice is to just do it. Jump right in and start writing some apps. You'll never get good if you don't actually build anything, for the most part, so just jump in and build something.

Going to have to say that I've had a much better experience with iOS than any other platform. In the past three years I have moved in the following sequence: - Windows Mobile (Motorola Q) - Various BlackBerry Devices (Curve, Storm, Torch, e

I honestly wonder how many people in that room actually: 1) Understand what this girl is saying, 2) Understand what they are about to vote on, 3) Deserve to vote at all God bless America!

The only real problem I have with the Khan Academy is that they appear to be using a mouse to write notes on the digital chalkboard. This is incredibly messy and really hard to understand. For example: In the first video on motion, Sal is g

I enjoy how he rambles on about how Java is dying, and that it isn't secure, but earlier says that 67% of mobile developers are working on Android applications.

I enjoy how the alleged "stolen" macbook pro has absolutely nothing on the dock. This story is becoming less and less realistic and more and more like a plug of "Hidden".

Last I checked, Estonia can use Android Market. Although maybe that's one of the "new" additions?

Not saying this isn't true, as I'm sure VUPEN is quite legit, but what stops me from creating a keyboard shortcut to calculator.exe, opening a random website which loads for a few seconds, and then pressing ctrl+alt+f6 or something to open

Just an FYI: http://www.gazaro.com/ does something similar to this, and gives users scores on how good the deal is.

I keep seeing that he donated US$1M, but he is "donating" it to a seed fund. Does this mean he will be taking a piece from each of the funded projects, or is he actually donating 100% of the money and expecting no returns?

The service of our internet is fine for the most part. If I remember correctly, we even attained higher speeds than the US when using Netflix. The problem stems from pricing, support and ridiculous rules - like insane caps and overage fees.

I'm not sure I want to spent $20 on a eBook that is only 20 pages long. If it were print - I probably would. Since it is not however, I'd much rather pay 9.99 or 4.99 or even less. Money-back guarantees are great and all that, but if you're

Agreed. By the end of the year (early next year), we're going to have Android devices with 2, 3 and maybe 4-cores, as well as a version of Android that no one could guess at right now (2.4, 2.5, 3.0, 3.1, 4.0 maybe?). Apple is going to be t

I have a feeling you don't use your N1 all that often since you think it's a "shitty phone", so why would you buy apps for it over your iOS devices. Your logic is flawed, and you clearly have a bias toward iOS devices, so your opinion is pr
