On iOS Telegram uses a system API, but on Android they seem to try to avoid the high Google Cloud fees: https://jlelse.blog/posts/telegram-translation

Totally agree! I have to get my bike up and down stairs as well. But instead of a cargo bike I use just a normal bike with trailer. A lot more flexible.

It's true, cargo bikes are everywhere here now. But it's only practical if you have a garage or another ground level storing place which many people in cities don't have.

Of course, coal kills a lot of people. But instead of investing the money in nuclear power plants, one could also build wind/hydro power plants and solar plants...

But nuclear meltdowns would have killed a lot of people and made a lot of land uninhabitable.

Bunny.net has an alternative: https://bunny.net/optimizer/ It's probably cheaper in some cases.

I use restic as well, was just interested to see what's different about Borg. But I think restic was the right choice, already saved me once from data loss.

What about Borg vs Restic? Which is better?

Just blogged about it ( https://b.jlel.se/s/49e ) after musing about the Holo design in 2018 ( https://b.jlel.se/s/9a ). Great work! Just set up a Liberapay donation.
