Greedy behavior ruined the internet. Addiction is a symptom. We're all guilty to some degree. I think substituting data for wisdom is a big part of the problem. If we get what we measure and we're measuring greed metrics, what

A more cynical me would say Facebook just set Apple up with this, but the realist acknowledges it's just about money and control. Either way, it would seem to help Epic's case.

Hasn't the pro-Apple argument centered around everyone pays the same amount and people knew what the rules are so stop complaining and pay? The anti-Apple argument has been that the policy hurts smaller developers and is being applied

Yeah that's mentioned in the article as well. Kind of takes the wind out of the, "same rules for everyone...level playing field" argument.

Or buying things in the Amazon app. Are they charged 30%? Perhaps Epic could argue that their app is actually a shopping platform with game like features. I'm sure there are many other apps that are free to sell products without paying

I preheated the water this morning and the difference in flavor was noticeable. Now I have to reoptimize my coffee routine.

I'll try the preheating and see how it goes. My $10 grinder is simple, small, less than $40, and it's been working great for 5 years now. If it ever breaks, I'll consider upgrading. Although now I'm tempted to buy a burr
