This is really cool. I worked on something similar during a hack day while I was still at Twitter. https://github.com/jkubicek/Switters My project used QR codes attached to a tweet as images to encode the message. It&#

I'm not all that worried about Trump enacting any of his specific policies. I am worried about Trump legitimizing sexual assault and violence towards POC and Muslims. White men are going to get through the next four years just fine,

I'm guessing LeoNatan has an issue with: > it's at best a subtle difference and for most code you won't be able to tell the difference. Which is a pretty dubious claim. I removed a lot of retain/release/autorel

I love guard statements, but Swift's `if case...` syntax is horrendous. I'm approaching a year of full-time Swift and I still struggle to get the syntax right on the first try.

I'm suspicious of the Elo scale, at least used to rank folks who aren't near the top of the reputation scales. I'm ranked 2600th for reputation, but 3.5 millionth for rating. I'm not surprised that other people are doing

I'm a mid-30s tech worker. I've never had problems maintaining a work/life balance across jobs from tiny startups to larger 2000+ person companies. If you do want to stay in tech as you grow older, there are places to go that

I think autoblocks are significantly easier, especially since you never need to unclip the autoblock from your harness, limiting the chances of you dropping it. The hold is also much looser than a prussic, which is an advantage when used as

Except for the processor speed, this could easily be my work laptop. I would prefer having only one thing to plug-in at my desk, as opposed to the power / USB hub / monitor setup that I currently have. Even with an Apple Thunderbo

The main criticism of circular smartwatches is that they unnaturally truncate text. The screenshots don't even try to hide this. While I do think circular watches look better, circular smart watches are just silly. Edit: I mean to say,
