Only if you ignore that the 3rd person would get the 0.8 BTC (as long as the scheme goes on). At some point he stops, but how much money he made depends exactly on how many people he didn't pay back. So, in the simplest case: Tim

No, it's not emotion in this case. The paper you linked begins with 100 repetitions of "did you know that the law actually is about children?". To which I have to answer: yes. And more importantly: yes, of course. That (hidin

If you offer unlimited bandwidth and it's not working out financially, the solution is one of the two: 1. Increase the price for the subscription 2. Remove unlimited bandwidth for the subscription and go back to volume based models It&

Yes, it does. And it allows for shady "install this app to continue"-campaigns to artificially boost downloads of apps so they appear in top sellers - even if nobody is actually using them.

Design != good looking. If you look at something and it seems beautiful but not functional, it's maybe good art but it's likely to be shitty design.

Same experience. Wanted to setup a VM with Windows, purchased Windows 8, and ended up with a .exe and no legal way of getting the actual image without already having Windows. It's ridiculous.

Terms of service normally don't override law. So, if there is something unlawful about their behavior, it doesn't matter what they wrote in their TOS. At least in many countries, not sure about US.

Pretty cool! Does it track dependencies of build steps that have "require"? E.g. if I have a javascript bundle being built using browserify - will it track the files that browserify is loading? Also: Did you consider reusing the G

I can only speak from early teen years looking at computer game UIs. It's way harder to make a UI work in "native" ways than it appears at first sight. Especially if you do very manual rendering instead of relying on float&#x

This! The branding of Bing is terrible. When I see the big picture I always think: this has nothing to do with what I'm looking for - and "what I'm looking for" should be the single most important thing for a search engi

Read the API docs, only reading DMs needs a special permission, POST direct message only needs the permissions that writing a "normal" tweet would. There's no bug here. Maybe a confusing security model, but no bug.
