I have no data to back this up but my intuition is that there are more successful start ups that have been rejected by YC than successful startups that have been accepted to YC. Of course this is going to wildly depend on your metrics for s

This is really interesting. I wonder if legalization of marijuana is a hot button issue in Georgia. If it is favorable it could increase the turnout for Democrats in the runoffs. I'm also thinking that those who are strongly opposed to

An interesting counter argument I have heard on term limits. If you limit the amount of public policy experience elected officials have, they will rely on ancillary services(i.e consultants, lobbiest, etc) more to implement policy. This giv

It sounds like you want to take a core function in financial services and turn it into a Saas. Seems like a good idea. The hard part is picking one and executing on it.

I don't think it is entirely out of convenience. If edx gets shut down or faces fines for violating the US sanctions on Iran it hurts their broader goal of support global education. I can understand it is frustrating being in Iran and

Taking a stab in the dark here but let me know if I am close. You are using GARCH and ARIMA on the options pricing data to identify moves in the market. Once you identify a move you try out a bunch of different combinations of buying/s

What country are you in? Can you get a government issued ID there? In the US you can get a drivers license or even a non-driving ID even if you aren't a citizen. I'm sure other countries have something similar.

Would Harris become the president if Joe Biden died before he is sworn in? Or would the electoral college select someone different? I think the constitution is pretty clear on succession if the president dies, but what about the president-e
