If you have the time and are wiling to put in some effort, I would write a book in the domain you are doing your freelancing in and self publish it(you could even try ghost writers if you want to burn the $$$ and save yourself some time) Th

This seems very squirelly. How would they value the equity stake in a privately held company? Just by assets controlled in the company? What if those assets are illiquid and hard to value? If you use the 3K to invest in the business, should

What country are you in? In the US I am beyond happy with Charles Schwab. I’ve been using them for ~10 years and I can’t think of a reason why I would switch.

I had two take aways from this. Work as hard as you can on fixing this: > I have trouble focusing, especially paying attention to details. I also forget things all the time I can’t think of a single job or career where attention to detai

This seems counterintuitive to me, especially when a company is near bankruptcy. Are you saying that a company who is facing insolvency decides that the best thing to do with their cash is to buy shares of their own stock. Future creditors

Youtube brought in 15 billion dollars in revenue last year. It is probably most important to the customers of youtube (the ad buyers) that their ads aren't shown on controversial videos. Also, I'd be really interested to know how

The only communication I saw from Robinhood is that they had to stop trading due to volatility. I think people jumped to the conclusion that it was them trying to act in their users interests.

In the words of Joe Biden, that rumor is pure malarky. I saw Vladimir on CNBC this morning in what looked to be his home. Unless the "low-level computer science" person was in the founders home, it seems very unlikely he "ove

I don't think either insurers or government health care bodies end up paying the sticker price. They usually have a contracted rate with the pharma companies that is less. Also, pharma companies have patient assistance programs which u

Does anyone actually end up paying the 47,500 a year for the drug or is this some sort of gimmick on the part of the drug company when they negotiate reimbursement rates with CMS or other payers?

Money laundering typically implies taking illegitimate sources of income and making them seem legitimate. In this case you could sell yourself $100 gift cards for $120. You wouldn’t even necessarily have to send yourself a gift card. You no

You hear a lot about the day 1 pop in share price but I really think the price is just the tip of the iceberg. I'm not sure what the trading volume is but I doubt that you could fill the entire IPO at the highest price on the IPO date.
