Sure it was. The crime bill was designed to stop the "super predators" (to quote two democrat presidential candidates). It was a racist depiction of black men. It included a provision to outlaw scary black guns. You can't r

But that's really not accurate. There are some developers who might care about Linux on a Mac. Most Linux zealots I know hate Apple and won't touch a Mac just because of ideology. Photoshop is not at all in that category. You&

Yeah, I know, you always show up to argue this. It's not their obligation to make you happy. It's not their obligation to maintain everything for you. They are under no licensing obligation to provide you anything. They don'

Nearly all gun control measures in the US are rooted in racism. Some in Jim Crow, some in other eras -- but most of them were to ensure that the "wrong people"* couldn't protect themselves.

You actually can, if you can afford the paperwork and storage requirements. It's quite involved and expensive ($200 tax per round on anti-tank rounds just to start with), but it's not impossible. Just prohibitive in cost.

They don't right now, and Apple hasn't advertised that they will. Of course it's early for the M1. Barely a few days past initial product launch.

You realize they fixed the keyboard, right? The Touch Bar is irritating, but I don't have to use it. As someone who uses an MBP for development for 8-10 hours a day for work and another one for 4-6 hours a day for school, I'm pre

I don’t think you’ve been paying attention. Apple just released their first laptops with custom silicon cpu/gpu, declaring their independence from Intel. They dropped Nvidia ten years ago.

Edge? As a Mac user for many years, I can't recall any time I might have even considered using Edge for anything. I guess they ported it to Mac not too long ago, but who cares?

What does any of your complaints about Apple hardware have to do with open source? Are you confused into thinking that intel or amd processors are open source? Apple supports open source a great deal. opensource.apple.com

Those are f keys on a regular keyboard, and a few million of us have developed the muscle memory to use them over the say last thirty years that they’ve been assigned to those f keys in most IDEs.

You can’t hit them without looking at the bar, because you have nothing to index your fingers on. The touchbar is the second worst thing Apple has ever done in the history of the Mac, following closely on that abomination of a “keyboard” th
