If I were Apple, I'd jump on this. Maybe then battery life will be better. And hopefully that famed form fitted battery comes out of the woods.

There is one thing I'm not sure anyone has talked about yet. When a corp entity 'donates' or provides funding for a specific feature, they will usually want a timeline for the completion of it. I personally feel there is a di

If IBM tried to do this I can see other players stepping up to outbid them. Didn't IBM divest much of these business lines and focus on services?

For those that have forgotten, https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=4073309 Back then there were issues. If I remember correctly, there was some nodejs even after this with no bcrypt.

Doesn't eliminate them, but as a sysadmin doesn't have to worry about what version of it or even if runtimes such as ruby/Java/Python exist, any devel libs, exist in the machine. That same container can move from my desk

A rocket lands like it's done it 1000 times from space, and my company can't even code a simple microservice or use containers.

Speaking about scripting, look at the Vagrant cluster scripts. A lot of bash [0] (I like bash). But there have been so many issues. I've been using K8s for so long and I tried so long to help vagrant work, but it sucks. Anyways, went t

You really think closed source Oracle is going to make applets better? People don't like applets cause the experience sucks, the tooling generally lacks, and the libraries are old. You say that webdev is Applet 2.0? ok sure, at least i

Totally agree, but as you pointed out Adobe is a Tech company. It has the dollars to do full development, to hire good people, and do things right. Software development is hard, managing projects and making stupid decisions is easy.

Beg to differ. You should read the docs for CoreOS. One OS is made to host containers, the other is more general.
