I'd love a language that is a GC'd like go, but with the ML inspired type system, and still an imperative language. OCaml seems to be the closest thing to Rust in that regard, but it's not imperative.

If I recall in an article from a while back, the idea was originally rust, but the current compiler design had lots of references shared references that would make the port to rust a lot of work.

I’d agree here. I thought kubernetes was going to dominate the container compute space, but ECS and similar non-k8s solution took up way more steam than I expected. I wouldn’t be surprised if k8s still dominates market share, but you can go

The concept of things like this is excellent, and I don't think that even at massive scale that you could get the average consumer to go along with it, unfortunately. Even if this thing is 30% more expensive than a non-repairable toast

Lots of good times on Skype in high school. Plenty of 12 hour calls on that service for free, and I really appreciate that it was a thing. It was really solid for the time. We had so much fun buying $10 of Skype credit when we finally were

TLDR: Balatro is a roguelike card game where in you make poker hands to score points. You can enhance cards and get jokers that have more effects. It wont a ton of awards this past year (it's just about a year old) and was incredibly w

I don't know if it's just because I grew up with American media that made them seem badass, but the first time I saw one up in Maine I was blown away. It looked so stoic. Also very intimidating for someone going on a hike.

I had this same issue for years on Android with Bitwarden. I’m not sure how the password manager related APIs work to make it appear on android, but since switching to iOS, it always presents me with a generic “passwords” option, which then
