In the UK I think the Pullman carriage still operates mon-fri 6pm leaving Paddington travelling west. Silver service dining, and is pretty good fun.

I've never used streaming services and likely never will for the reasons often raised in these threads. I've gone completely digital in my collection and store this as named and tagged files in a folder, backed up in the usual way

The art cliche "hands are hard" strikes again. Lucid dreamers also describe hands not looking right in dreams, using it as a tell that they are dreaming. I've also seen my hands look like these pictures when taking LSD. With

Genuine question. Is it reasonable as a user to expect data collected by Google via maps.google.com to not be shared with other Google applications e.g. mail.google.com? I'd have thought data collected on any of their domains would be

Half in jest but for a loose definition of work, some do. If you classify a "work day" if you have a single thought about work on that day, then it's quite easy. If my brain was cloud compute you would still pay for those cyc

Does the Scarlett drive the hd600s nicely for you? (I'm assuming something like the 4i4). I'm in the process of upgrading and was looking at a Scarlett audio interface for creating mixtapes with an external DJ mixer. I was going

One in 10 years? You've been extremely lucky or only driven it < 2000 miles per year I'd say. Oil change people, it's cheap and keeps things good.

I've used Molotov[1] to generate load against web apps pretty successfully. You script the tests in Python and then pass in the amount of load (workers etc) via a command line arg. [1] https://molotov.readthedocs.io/en&

Just to kind of address the Outlook issue, you can also set the default paste setting to be text only. (sigh) we have to do this.

I think Google accounts are tied to a region/country. I think you can change that but it'll likely cause you problems with all sorts of other things such as purchased apps becoming unavailable etc.

Rather than a messaging app could you build encyrpted messaging as a mobile keyboard that works over any existing messaging service, even SMS for example? Like PGP for email but implemented as a software keyboard input device?
