Planet has some services that use machine learning to count ships and detect roads. I believe you might be able to run your own models on the data, but detecting teslas vs other cars would be difficult at current resolutions. Unfortunately

Additionally, the public transportation infrastructure designed to deal with the topography of the city has become nothing more than a tourist attraction, rather than a way to traverse the city.

As you indicate, it's just an example. These libraries aren't for building image sliders, they're for building complex applications that you can't easily provide examples for.
