Very nice! Small bug: if you click the square view while the animation is filling the country, the square won’t be colores properly (and switching back to the country won’t either).

Recently, I found that the `—replace` option, and it’s quite nice. Along with `—type` and I felt like I missed out on nice features. I’m happy reading releases notes more thoroughly to keep myself aware of new features. Nice to see some bet

I'm really not well experience in Vim vs Helix, but could one say that Helix is more like if Vim was in visual mode by default, and stayed in it even after an action? And so, could (Neo)Vim be configured to work more like Helix?

I see this as a test ground for the next thing on PC. Why not also give a mini AMD EPYC cpu with 32 cores? This way games would start to be much better at multicore.

Nice! It reminds me of Jooq in Java-land. Does Parrot also try to fill-in the gaps in support between databases so that the same query works on all databases?

Ancient Latin and Ancient Greek also did just that: lowercase didn’t exist yet. Makes me want to try and write code in uppercase only (or not). I like the theme of the website, though!

It’s only a stopgap measure. And maybe that explains why autonomous robots in space struggle so much: we first need to adapt space to robot (joke) Standards are good, but then how about you take up pottery and make a plate yourself and now

Most website do not have a print CSS, so it doesn’t print that nicely in PDF. But, I upvote weasyprint for that instead.

The world category is clearly US news, indeed. But they have other countries categories by default in the language of the news themselves with possibility to show that translated in a language of our choice. So this helps. I wish they had a

I think as an application, when receiving packets you never really see a coalesced UDP datagrams when GRO is active. It’s more like the kernel puts multiple datagrams into a single structure and passes that around between layers, maintainin

It’s especially aggravating in mobiles apps, like on iOS such as: - can’t select app reviews text (for translation for example) - WhatsApp text bubbles don’t let you select text inside at all - WeChat: exact same Overall, it’s also very ann

I have to admit it's a pretty cool idea. At first I was worried that there was a (stupid) API in web browsers just like on mobiles to prevent users from screenshotting something by blanking the screen in the screenshot.

Great work! I like duckdb, but clickhouse seems more focused on large scale performance. I just thought that the article is written from the point of view of a single person, but has multiple authors, which is a bit weird. Did I misundersto

Perhaps app stores should have a minimum hamming distance requirement [0] on the names of apps, so that names could not be too similar by default. [0]: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamming_distance

I wish I could pipe stuff to helix without having to deal with not saving the buffer. I also don’t like bulk search and replace in helix as it’s based on selection and replace. Other than that, I find it easier to stick to helix than to vim

The top banner also float in the middle when scrolling down or up. When you go back from an article, the previous page reloads from the top and your position is lost. It isn’t working that well on mobile, overall.
