Looks like HCL in the end, mostly. If HCL was more standardised across languages, maybe without the interpolation bits, it would be a nice common configuration format IMHO [0]. [0]: https://www.linode.com/docs/guides&#x

Speaking of which, I’ve found that the api doc is getting better since Sublime Text 4. Not crazy better, but that’s something. I’d also enjoy some typing stubs for their API to import to help with autocompletion of their API, though.

Perhaps there is kind of a way to improve JSON without changing JSON: use the gron format [0] as config. Tools can parse it as JSON and that’s it. [0]: https://github.com/tomnomnom/gron

Android, even though Kotlin is growing there. Otherwise, it’s a language that has picked up pace in the last few years and is not laying still (Java 17 and now 21 for example, but also AOT compilation with graalVM, etc).

Nice guide, but I feel it misses some tips. Some I recommend: - wear hearing protection foam when: going to a concert, on the plane (even with an ANC headphone on top of it sometimes), when sleeping at a loud hotel, etc. - use ANC headphone
