There has never been any doubt that 20th century weapons are sufficient to do horrendous damage to civilian targets. WWII shows plenty of examples, many of them in Russia. Saying that the modern Russian army is at least as capable as the

You just argued that running (100m, marathon, etc) is not competitive, that weightlifting is not competitive, that bowling is not competitive, that target shooting is not competitive. Just achievements. That's fine, you can humpty-dum

Computers are not "a technology". They're processed rocks. Insofar as tea involves technique, including selection, cultivation, harvest, processing, and preparation, it's a technology. One that I personally dislike.

Yeah, same. Back 20 years ago, I used to reinstall Windows every twelve to eighteen months. There's just no need any more. Of course, I don't install warez any more, that probably helps. But mostly Windows just turned into a rea

Just a quibble: not only are millenials "by and large" not teens any more, the very youngest of them are 25. Signed, a Gen X-er who won't use SMS except with his Boomer parents, and prefers gChat or Discord.

My guess: Each owner says "it's your turn to feed it", and so the cow is never fed. And when the cow does give milk, each owner quickly takes the milk, claiming they haven't got their share yet. It's like the huma
