There's also an animated Ninja Turtle gif in the fixed sidenav. I can't image how someone could think that this was a good idea (especially on a website where all the main content is text).

How was Angular 2 a disaster? I know it was basically a new Framework but I think they made it very clear and even did a rebranding (AngularJS -> Angular) and AngularJS is still being maintained.

For everything else (docs, hangouts, calendar etc.) simply host your own nextcloud. You can also go one step further and run a searx instance and you wont even have to rely on Google search (well, still kind of) anymore.

Did just that for a long time but recently switched to brave. Chromium just feels way more snappier on Android and I prefer its UI much more over Firefox which does many things that annoy me (e.g. ignoring theme-color tags).

A raspberry pi system to monitor my 3d printer during long prints. I'm writing the video streaming part myself for fun. Tomorrow I'll design and print the pi/camera mount.

I really love fishing. It has become something like a tradition for the guy-part of my family to go on a fishing trip every year and spend some weekends at a nearby river. Fishing taught me many valuable lessons in my childhood and youth. I

I've been using TypeScript for around one year now in small to mid sized projects but I feel like I'm not using a lot of the language's features and best practices. Does someone know any good advanced courses (free or paid)?

Dell XPS 15! Build quality (and touch pad) are equal to MacBooks and they come with minimal bloat ware. Also Dell support for me personally has been great so far. I had a single dead pixel on my screen and they replaced without any question

What about OnePlus devices? Absolutely no bloatware, very easy unlocking and ususally around $500. If you strip away all the hype and marketing, they offer pretty solid phones.

I run Arch on my XPS 15, too. Had it up and running after the usual Arch Wiki binge reading and a couple hours of trial and error. But that's what I always do when installing Arch. A couple weeks ago I did a fresh install with Manjaro.
