That to me looks like Reticulums [1] adressing ("Destinations") with transport done via QUIC. Does it add anything what Reticulum didn't already solve, other than using slightly different protocols - do they have an advantage

If someone takes it near the power plant, and all the infrastructure is there for it. You don't build a (large) nuclear power plant just for these customers though. Generally, with a high amount of renewable but fluctuating supply, we

Good luck modulating nuclear power plants when there is a lot of cheap renewable energy available.

Energy scientist in Germany here. Germany could fully supply it's national grid with German energy production. We just don't do it because it's cheaper to buy i.e. heavily subsidized nuclear power from France, or other source

Has the Cricut protocol been reverse engineered already? The primary motivation I had when building respira (controller software for the Brother PP-1 Skitch embroidery machine) was its shitty smartphone-only app. The reverse-engineering of

Since the BambuLab A1 series was released, I consider this highly outdated information.

Have you checked out the Voice Assistant functionalities integrated into HA? https://www.home-assistant.io/voice_control/ NabuCasa employed the Rhasspy main dev to work on these functionalities and they are progressing

That's my guess as well. Either monochromatic OLED (cheap!) and colored icons (not so cheap?) or the other way around. LCD with front panel might also be fine as long as it's bright enough, and the front panel is dim enough.

Can we get this to teenage engineering?

This is were time-triggered architectures [1] can kick in! You divide your program into tasks and messages passed between tasks, and can then assign each task to a separate processor with a precise execution time. Same goes for messages. --

I just started doing something myself. [0] RC2014 is a solid base, but doing the hardware yourself adds even more fun. I am currently waiting for my PCBs and then will start to assemble and program the thing. [0] https://github.c
