Can we demonize DRM because of the various legitimate reasons against it, then?

I had to doublecheck. The only differences in Earth2 were the rarity of three-leaf clovers, peculiarly low sales of pecan-flavored ice cream, and an extra Tricia MacMillan.

It is fantastic that the most powerful nation on earth can be stalled, at least for a little while, because one guy feels strongly enough to stall it in the hopes that it takes notice.

A lot of us are spoiled by easily accessible network services. I'm about 5 miles inside the zone that allows me to get (albeit slow) DSL from my phone company, and there are no cable or other high speed options in my area (save for satellit

Mobile is nibbling at console gaming in general, but it's absolutely FEASTING on Nintendo. While other consoles like Xbox and PlayStation have better GPUs and better network multiplayer integration, which is harder to replicate on mobile ha

Good work, have a buck. Also, it's "Polaroid", not "Poleroid", unless you were trying to not use a trademark. In which case "Lego" should probably be misspelled. :-)

Zen studios pinball games are a nice blend of physical pinball emulation and video games. The tables have pretty good physical properties, but there are things in the games that are difficult, expensive, or downright impossible to do on a r

There's a lot to be done - granted the majority of pinball failures are mechanical, and they're hard to reduce simply by the fact that you're flinging a heavy metal ball at a decent momentum against mechanical components. Some of the actual

Pinball may have been more popular pre- (and during) the transition to arcade games, but arguably the /best/ pinball came in the early 90s with the advent of better processing power and more complicated electronics allowing more complex gam

Lego has some of the best customer service of any company I've ever dealt with. A year or two ago our new puppy got ahold of one of my Lego Architecture sets (Frank Lloyd Wright's "Fallingwater", IIRC) and chewed up a large chunk of it. I o

I hear that Flickr is owned by Google, another company which monetizes their users in much the same way that Facebook does. Although Flickr is on record, for now, for saying that they'd /never/ do that to their users, it seems to me that m
