Yes, I had to read the description on HN to actually understand what it does so this is a good suggestion.

This is just undermining the bank system. There is no reason big enough to do something like this and it appals me that some people are saying that he had it coming. A part of it is 'dirty' and that argument is being used to validate the co

The best therapy for me personally is taking some time off. Just go some place where you can relax, leave your cellphone inside the safe of your hotel room and don't try to think about work. There were times in my life when I thought I had

Actually I think this is a very personal matter. The guy that is saying that he is more productive in the office is probably just as happy with his choice as you are with yours. Actually going to work and working in group and interacting wi

Thought that it was this one too. Actually I don't understand the problem, maybe a reference to what he thinks is 'mean' would be useful.

This article sounds so incredible to me, I think I might have been holding my breath reading it. These are two major mistakes that the company is responsible for, not the author. Why would they let anyone in on the production password and d

Great overview, much more extensive than any other I've seen and I like the interactivity.

We are developers and we can learn and use any language if we just know the concepts of what we are doing. Same thing, different language... who cares. Hope it's the last "why I switched" blogpost because I never found them useful.

That's what I thought too, not talking to your co-workers is a bridge too far and the consequence for doing the meditation is that everybody in your company will know you. But there is a lot of truth to what he is saying and I often find my

Awesome idea, but it won't work for some magazines, certainly at the start. Most spam will go unrecognized or am I wrong?

hatefully how they ignore such a huge market potential, renting movies online and streaming them... that would be so great and would generate huge profits. But yet they don't and just expect their customers to go to the store and buy a DVD

Can't agree on number 4 that invented captcha's. I saw that talk and he talks how annoying captcha was and how re-captcha would be so much better because it is actually used for a purpose. There is one word they know the meaning of and they

Because of this: Your final score will be calculated as 30% of the score on the top 6 of your 8 homework assignments, 30% your score on the midterm exam, and 40% your score on the final exam. For those completing the advanced track you will

Great site and I wish you the best of luck, there is (was?) indeed a need for a personal photo storage service that is not Flickr, Picasa, Facebook or Dropbox. One thing that I would change in the overview, give a hint of how the pages for

Just signed up and the user interface isn't clear to me. The jumping left bar is terrible, I don't understand how to use this (and I really wanted to for some reason). Put in more effort to make clear to your users how you want them to use

The funny thing is that the smart captchas are easier for a computer to guess (if it wasn't a joke). Too bad that the current implementation of captchas ever saw the light, they are pushing a security issue to the end user. Seems like a goo
