Who doesn't use a case? Especially with a $600+ device? Everything you mentioned are the same for the Galaxy phone I just replaced with an iPhone Mini 13.

Now that you mention it, I don't think I've ever had a negative experience at Micro Center, but I've only been to a couple of them.

I also use dank mono and really like it. Its similar to JetBrains Mono and Roboto Mono, but a bit crisper and slightly more space efficient. Looks equally good on my Mac retina display and my Windows 1080p display.

I've run into exactly this, where each developer has their own test setup abstraction and attempt at automation. Difficult to add your own tests and difficult to fix theirs. It's maddening.

Anecdotal - my experience is the opposite. I have two large PHP side projects currently (vanilla and Drupal) and I find working with PHP and Composer to be a much slower experience overall than my day job developing with TypeScript/Nod

When I tried Svelte a while back (year or two ago) I had difficulty working with code in the debugger, couldn't seem to get source maps to work correctly, I wonder if it's fixed.

Question- if you're using eval() and bleach, won't your security be totally dependent on bleach not having a vulnerability?

I used to 'craft' commits but more frequent WIPs is what the people (who write the checks) want to see.

9 out of 10 times when I would troubleshoot people's problems with active directory / exchange / lync / office 365 it was... DNS!

We've had performance issues with cloud Jira / Bitbucket the last couple months. Doing simple merges can take 2 minutes in the background. I encounter 5-10 second slow downs multiple times a week with other parts of the UI. GitHub

For node / php and python I just expose the debugger ports in docker, and if I'm running docker in a VM I just forward them over SSH. VSCode connects to the forwarded port easily, but sometimes you have to struggle with workspace

I always figured it had more to do with the kind of systems were using back in the days of old - flat and dull sounding by default. Most cars I remember being in, in the 80's and 90's maybe had quad 4" speakers with no tweete

I got an HP OMEN 15 for $1200 and added some memory - 32gb with 8 cores, 16 threads and a nice IPS 144hz screen. I run VirtualBox Ubuntu 20.04 VMs with docker inside them and connect with VS Code SSH - and I have no performance complaints.

I worked with adding some functionality to a Microsoft PowerApp Covid office tracker template. Having to navigate the GUI for everything was quite cumbersome. Although it was only two function calls in two places, it seems that every time t

It is awful, but there are some positive tradeoffs like security and flexibility. For example, there have been a zillion vulnerabilities with native Office over the years. Visual Studio is a terrible pain to skin or customize its look and

The Vornado Evap3 is a great alternative. Easy to clean, high output, accurate controls. No issues with mold using two 'aqua sticks' in the tank.

I have 2 cars. I like the TPMS to work since I've had 3 nails in tires in 4 years (newer construction area). Also the TPMS light in my impreza is almost as bright as the sun.

I have a TPMS programming tool (ATEQ QuickSet) and reader (Autel TS401), because I like to swap my winter / summer tires on my own. The TPMS light came on one day and inflating tires didn't help - I used the reader and found that

One of the tire pressure sensors in my car tires had a bit flip a couple years ago and I had to reprogram it's ID. Luckily it was a subaru, so only a light came on in the dash. My old Honda crv however would turn traction control on if

I don't agree - if you play guitar a bit, it's pretty easy to tell a telecaster from a stratocaster or a les paul, whether clean or distorted (in their traditional forms) on most any recording.

But Airpods aren't waterproof. So there's that. Galaxy buds look pretty small and have a replaceable battery. Apple with all their genius could make it work.

How much space could a plastic or rubber end piece plug take up though, really? That would probably provide enough moisture resistance, why would headphones need to be waterproof?? I think it's just planned obsolescence.

In the case of the air pods, why couldn't they just have a cylindrical compartment for the battery that can be opened - like any other device? It just seems silly.
