GDB only presents the GDB-MI (machine interface) textual interface as an "API". LLDB actually ships a library that you can link against. When it comes to integration, LLDB is miles ahead of GDB.

I have a DE2 (35k LUTS, IIRC) and it is a great platform. Tons of peripherals to learn how to write either HDL or software drivers! VGA, RCA Video (NTSC/PAL), SRAM, DRAM, Ethernet, USB, IR, PS/2, RS232, SD card, and more! http://www.altera

When I crafted my MIPS subset dual core CPU in a senior design class, I chose the 6502 method. That is, perform ADD, OR, XOR, etc in parallel at word width (that is 32 bits x the number of operations) and select the correct output using a m

Good luck building them. Many of the code dumps are incomplete (like dyld and ld64). They reference private apple headers and won't build without them. Granted, they can probably be hacked to build in some cases and having the source just f

I think the grandparent poster was looking for those specific CA and NY examples. Were SKS somehow confiscated in CA? How did CA get around the tricky "ex post facto" thing?

iOS 6 adds a lot of goodies for devs. I find it hard to blame devs of apps that move to 6.0. A jailbreak sure would be nice! =) Wait for 6.1 (remember 6.1 beta 4 expires soon!).

Aren't legit copies of video games especially difficult to find in Brazil? And when you do find them they are > $120 USD? That is just what I've heard, I wonder if it is due to this protectionism that you mention?

Honestly, I don't know. I think a lot of it has to do with the fragrance. Wearing clothing washed with a different detergent feels odd, at least to me. Also, one of the main odors that defines a "household scent" is the detergent used in th

Interesting. I wasn't sure if Apple multiplexed their persistent sockets or not. I wonder how the baseband optimizes persistent connections. I suppose it doesn't have to do much of anything since the sockets aren't actively sending data.
