I also used reddit for my side projects with mixed results. My saleable project didn't do well but my OSS project did. My OSS project got 27 stars within 3 or 4 days (which is 3 times the amount of stars I had on my most popular repo).

I work during my commute. I have a 3.5 hour daily commute with 3 of those hours on the train. I'm the first stop both ways so that gives me freedom to pick my seat. I find a seat that has an electrical outlet on it and then pull out my

The trick is practice. The more you use the language and APIs the more you'll remember. If you don't remember then a search engine is your friend. Libraries are so big these days that you can't be blamed for not remembering s

I just think their marketing sucks and their IDE is nowhere near Visual Studio but the price points are nearly the same. Sure you get the VCL and other proprietary things (such as their fireman firemonkey app platform which deploys to andro

Yea. It was frustrating when u was looking for tools to generate models from existing dB. The ecto tell even straight out said they won't do it. I found another tool but it was stripped down and didn't work. It has been an interes

Any idea on what the app will be? I'm currently writing a Mix task that generates Ecto models based on existing database tables. My Phoenix app I'm working on uses Ecto but I had to hand write the models because there isn't a

One thing to note is that "premium" names for those 88 cent domains are not 88 cents. I forgot what I searched but it was one of the 88 cent TLDs and it ended up being $32/yr (at least) and some were even higher.

I disagree with your premise on why F# was adopted. It isn't because it does objects but it was really the first functional language that was pushed by Microsoft and ran on the .NET platform. Had F# not run on the CLR I don't thin
