Regardless of the school board debating the potential validity of AAVE, I think it's misguided to experiment with asserting such "correctness" to teach kids that will grow up in a world that doesn't regard it as such. Save such philosophy f

I like this. I would use visual stars as well, which will bring reviews to life better than numbers only. Also, I think the PlusPanda branding could work well, and although the current logo is okay, I might shoot for something cuter/happier

Who said GM is going to disappear? Part of the govt. assistance was a restructuring of the company to be a viable business. Regarding executive compensation, GM CEO Rich Wagoner (who was ousted by the way) earned 1.5M in 2007, and will rece

You're saying the govt. should directly pay the thousands of affected people, at various income levels, directly? They can sit and watch tv and still make their salary? That won't fly with many fellow citizens. Remember, the "stupid executi

Government aid of GM was not a one-to-one benefit, as it may have appeared on the surface. If GM failed the effects would not have been limited directly to their workers. Unfortunately, thousands of dealerships rely on the viability of Gene

Wave function collapse wouldn't be so much erroneous as an illusion; [grin] I don't have time to respond to this adequately. Furthermore, reasoning from a purely mathematical perspective is generally better, in this case. Our intuitions

What I meant by variations only specific to you would be like The Truman Show, where everything is staged for the main character. This would mean that you only think everything else exists, but it's really only you that exists, and with man

It depends. The problem with the many worlds theory (which I don't subscribe to) is there are many variations. One would be that there are variations of reality only specific to you. Another is that variations of reality exist but continue

That's still heavier than cash when you look at the purpose of owning physical gold - as a store of value. People usually want to store increments of 10K, 50K or more, and that gets heavy/bulky enough even as paper 100s - so with your gold
