The work behind is impressive and inovative. More general benchmarks would be nice. more real life situations maybe, even if it is hard to say what is 'real life'. or simply to fork http://mootools.net/slickspeed/ and to put myjs in there

backbone is super nice, i wont be the one saying otherwise. It isn't the same scope tho. It does event emitter and much much more! I like micro frameworks (aka tiny libraries) because it is standalone and so small you can easily maintain it

jquery-mobile-960 are not just the grid. this is a grid inside jquery-mobile. If you just need a css grid. less framework is a viable choise

This idea seem very generic. The application may be more narrow. android 2.2 is already trying to send data from the desktop to the phone. This enter in the same vibe. imagine youtube movie using this. the phone is an actual remote control.

knowing where people are physically is a usefull info. this is no game. it is big stuff, close to the localisation trend. very linked to mobile world obviously. google/twitter/facebook are all going in the localisation in order to get data
