> journal .. config file .. ideas or notes So, not code for personal projects? Right? A private git repo with my own code, is not permitted. More to the point of this thread - there is no specific affordance for a personal website.

Codeberg does not permit personal repos, it is strictly for open source project communities. Also, it is painfully slow if you are working in a repo of any size. Codefloe is professionally hosted on a robust platform - it could probably sup

Its kind of surreal reading an essay about AI safety that was written by AI to shill some kind of AI "architecture" website that has no product, no papers, only a "patent application" which concludes "This page prov

I don't know why this is being downvoted. This is called malvertising and its one of the most significant vectors for exploiting a vulnerability like this. Its happened multiple times over the last two decades. My read of Google's

If you'd like an EU hosted Git Forge to back it, Codefloe offers a free built-in integration with no restriction on personal or private repositories. https://docs.codefloe.com/pages/

I will not be surprised if the number is zero. It should have already happened if it were possible. Proving that a conjecture is false is very different than what you are proposing. You are proposing an existing proof is simply wrong, that

If its possible to compile & and sign iOS or MacOS apps that would be VERY useful in CI environments, but yeah hard to think of other killer command-line apps that only run on MacOS. If they had good GUI support then some more things op

Understood. The comment I replied to suggests the crawlers should figure this out on their own.

The crawlers are not AI. The crawlers are deterministic. They are collecting data to train AIs.

Which rules are being broken? It seems to me it is the State department that has suddenly and capriciously begun violating immigration law, rather than processing Visa applications according to the laws of this country. Is it because this a

People don't hate Excel. Well - maybe programmers who don't use it hate it. In reality, Excel is the only reason Microsoft still exists. Excel is how they lure you in. Excel really is the best spreadsheet, its the only one every

That approach was mentioned in the Cursor article. If a KV cache like Redis is too slow for that to work with large repositories, I don't see how Postgres could possibly work.

GitHub also uses block storage - its just git on NVME. The complicated part is the redundancy and ensuring consistency. Cursor introduced an S3 WAL in their new system, Continuity. https://cursor.com/blog/git-at-any-sca

Maybe you should re-examine your priors, because reality is sending you a lot of data that refutes them. If it were feasible to do this, I think it would be done by now. There are a lot of reasons it is very difficult, and while there may b
