I've only been in CM for ~1 week and have spent most of the time working (or late night partying with Europeans / expat Americans). I spent 2 weeks in Bangkok before.... I think there is "authentic" Thai here and in Bang

I went from being a below average math student in high school to a really good one and it started by reading this text book and doing the problems in the back: http://www.amazon.com/Stewart-Redlin-Watsons-College-Algebra...

This is a really interesting path. Could you supply more info for each phase? Like a sentence or two and the maybe the time you spent on each?

Not sure if I follow. I like to read everything on e-book - one reason being that I tend to highlight a lot, and it's nice getting a summary of the highlights.

I've read that Henry Ford came up with the 8 hour work week after doing extensive testing[1]. I think the difference here is that assembly line work is not "creative". So you can do "non-creative work" for longer (8

Agreed that the clusters is interesting! Having bots visit girls with high match percentage and thereby direct in-bound messages from girls seems huge as well. Seems like girls are more likely to message you if you have such a high match. H

In the 2010 version of this course, we implemented paxos on one of the later labs. It was considered one of the hardest I think.

I took this course in 2010 when it was in C++. In addition to reading papers, as mentioned below, there were one or two tests. I say this is one of the tougher CS classes, though probably my favorite.
