Tangential, but koa-router isn't even that great, been using koa-tree-router [0] instead. Fewer dependencies, no API oddities and long-standing bugs [1], faster. It's much younger (less battle-testing), and has no regex and multi-

You mentioned in another comment that you're from Australia. What made you leave? What's wrong with Sydney, for example?

Free for now, but will start paying when I run out of blocks (the usage isn't as high as I expected, only at ~500 out of 1000 right now, though I have imported 4-5 years worth of notes).

Nobody's blaming the website, it can live without EU readers and we can live without it. @mdrzn is merely spreading awareness that this is GDPR-walled, while at the same time expressing discontent that some people still don't know

Yes, but touchpads aren't constrained by the necessity of having an integrated high tech light source and a transparent layer on top of it.

I do believe that the savings from getting more dies out of a wafer are non-negligible (wafers themselves are somewhat cheap, but the equipment they're wearing out with each pass - not so much), but my guess is that they aren't th

> npm@6 is up to 17x faster than the npm of one year ago. I think by "npm of one year ago" they mean npm 4, since npm 5 came out last May. If so, "up to 17x" is plausible. But even though technically true, this is a c

I personally find Chrome's current tab style very geometrically pleasing. I'll even admit that it was one of the reasons why I wasn't using Firefox back in the day (it did have a Chrome skin, but it couldn't replicate th

I'm talking about DNS and nothing else. Okay, say, 1 year from now, somehow, 95% of internet users are sending their DNS queries to Cloudflare. What can go wrong? Malicious or not. Not rhetorical, actually curious.

You are correct. Got too used to the "just add everything to regular dependencies" shortcut in private projects, which doesn't cut it for published modules.
23.
by jeremejevs 9y ago
It is neither, devDependencies is a redundant distinction for projects where a module bundler is involved, like Webpack, since there's no scenario where you wouldn't want to pull these dependencies.
