That's a feature of most "cloud" services that allow multi-device synchronisation. It could be said Google already have your browsing history (of sites that they serve adverts on, or that use their analytics). I doubt Chrom

With asp.net vNext able to run on Linux ( officially ), the question still remains: Why Windows => Why Microsoft? (apart from leeching their tech)

In my opinion, Dart makes JS less lame (via dart2js). It's the closest you'll get to C# in the browser.

This is what I'm doing. We're able to produce a standalone desktop application and a web app using the same code and have it looking/working exactly the same, on different platforms.

I do see your point, however sometimes it is a good thing to let everyone know about it, so they're able to do something about it. For example, my manager even heard about "shell shock" and prompted me to do something about i

It should also be noted that Mint is built on top of Ubuntu (and Ubuntu is built upon Debian). And from my experience, things in general that work on Debian or Ubuntu also work on Mint. So if you're torn between the 3, pick Mint becaus

How is this "Google-only", and how are they completely violating web standards? Also, what exactly makes Chrome the "neoMSIE"?

I do see your point. The advancement is: You don't need to make/test your engine, and we have a lot more graphics cards and platforms, too.

Congratulations on making the switch! At around the time of Windows 8 beta/preview I switched to Linux. I've been developing with Windows since, er.. DOS. It took about a month to re-wire my muscle memory, but once the initial pai

Dart has the restriction of "must be compilable to Javascript". I guess the majority of existing mainstream languages have aspects that would make meeting this requirement difficult, without breaking the language. It's also a
