> Google rewards the richest Oh come on.. if multiplying your ranking by 0.01 (now) means that much to you, then probably you're making enough money you can afford a cert - or you probably have one in place.

And it's not in fairness to the late bidders. Everyone knows well how much the price increases in the last minute.

If the shoe were on the other foot, and you lost out on a domain due to their technical glitch I'm sure there would also be uproar. [Funny how their downtime actually brings in more money]

Sure. But "99%" of developers just need serialisation, which is supported. You (and myself) want more than that.

Why not create yourself a code generator, which analyses the class and generates code to perform the manual map<->object transfer?

I don't think it's the technical accomplishment that's significant - more the fact that producers are increasingly recognising Linux as an emerging gaming platform.

The DOS games I've seen are DOSBox wrappers. I wonder if they've made the games work (if they didn't already) by hacking DOSBox, rather than the game.

When debugging, you usually want to see the exact code that's being run - not a "reference" version which may not have the certain bit of code that you're trying to workaround/call. The only advantage that the refer

That's not opensource. (I know you know that, but I'm just saying) Also, it provides nothing more than ilspy does (and ilspy shows the actual code on your machine)

It's for publicity + out of desperation. They have treated developers (like myself) badly over the years, many are moving away. So they've released some throw-away products as open-source, on different project collaboration site t

The bounty "prize" is you will eventually have a working product to use. If you don't report it, then there is slim chance of the bug being fixed.

It's easier than rolling your own, which is what most Windows developers do. It's strange that Windows still doesn't provide this for desktop applications. Also, VS pro is something that a Windows developer could already ha
