Sadly, this project is going to fail - it won't even be funded. I understand the concept behind it, but for me app.net is like socialism - in theory it's great but in reality it just won't work. App.net is not created based on what people t

I gave this a shot and am already having a huge amount more trouble working with the command line interface than I did with the > v1.9 xcode template. The way it's put together is not elegant at all - it's used as a command line tool, b

Dan, you are the man, and this is awesome. I met you at an event a few months back (not sure if you remember). I wish you the best of luck with this project for sure. For anyone else reading, Dan is a super nice, smart, and hardworking dude

This is absolutely worth getting for mac. I'm getting far fewer crashes than the official twitter client, a much nicer look, smoother interactions, and more information faster. The killer feature for me is the ability to see the conversatio

Yeah initially I agreed with this article, but after reading the comments and thinking about the fact that i always use sass or stylus for css, I think it makes more sense to publish your source on github and put the github url in a comment

I agree as well - there are good for internal tools and prototypes, but absolutely not for production sites. At the same time they are useful and save a lot of time we spend repeating ourselves writing code for the same ui elements and patt

"...next language choice was clear: Python, which seems to fit my style better than Ruby" Just out of curiosity, why would someone believe this? The syntax of python and ruby are nearly identical, but ruby has more tools and support for web

That was a fun puzzle. Did it just for good times, but does anyone have an actual opinion on whether this would be worth going to?

Something really bothers me about the design of this app... definitely not trying to be a hater here, but the color, font, spacing... everything seems a little off to me.

Yeah this is a pretty common artifact in EEG studies - it seems like subjects were encouraged to keep their eyes closed for this exhibit, but blink artifacts are often pretty clear. The plus side is that (it least in my experience) when the

For me, the best way to understand art is to compare it directly with music (and the comparison holds very well, as music is a form of art). Think about pop music, and your feelings towards it. Many of my peers think that much of pop music
