I don't think the downing of that drone increased Russian aggression. Russia doesn't want a war with the US but seems to want to push boundaries as far as possible and win it's war in Ukraine. The US response of giving weapon

Luxury is a loaded term, I probably should have used something less vague. The examples you gave are still luxuries even if they're only $10 more than the basic version - the cheaper plane ticket still gets you there, the cheaper wine.

When you're spending money on a luxury item/service and there's a cheaper (in this case free) alternative, the it's hard to not write in this way. You are justifying it to yourself as much as anything. I also pay for Kag

Uh yeah that's the article I talked to this person about. I think, it was some time ago, but the dates line up. I even still had the article open on my laptop on the plane. I'm neutralish on the subject though, it was just a relat

From a political point of view is it actually good for the republicans though? People moving to the red states might not be red voters.

A few years ago I was sitting next to a military phycologist who was flying home from a conference in Auckland, and she was reading this book. I had recently read the article, so we had a conversation about the book. She argued that the pro

Yeah I heard on a podcast with a biologist that it only happened once and was a mystery. I'm glad to hear that's probably wrong as this is one of the bottlenecks suggested in limiting the possibility of alien life.
