I think they do. Building bun is a complex task and engineers who can do that should also be able to figure out how to help out with a compiler. It is just a matter of immersing yourself in the code and be willing to put in the hours and ha

I don't see why they think it would work when the reason their patch set was rejected was because it was not correct, did not go in a direction the Zig authors were interested in and is also in an area where they are already working ha

Then your only option is Apple. The same happens with Windows too.

More likely: "People needed to get promotion packages, don't you understand?!" I would guess many of the bad changes are caused by perverse incentives which do not even help shareholder value.

Are you sure you are not thinking of transparent huge pages? They have a spotty history but you are supposed to run big PostgreSQL instances with huge pages, not transparent huge pages.

Moderators should change this headline because it is nowhere near true. It only regressed performance on some incorrect configurations.

It will change and most likely for worse. The new applications will be even buggier and worse than what we have now.

Much better UX for viewing logs, more supported platforms. Github Actions in particular is also very unstable.

Every great journey must have an end. As far as I understand Cirrus CI was struggling due to Github Actions eating their market. Cirrus CI was in my opinion much better than Github Actions but it is hard to compete with a bundled solution.

Some people have been saying that but indeed not OP. I personally think it is both: 1. Microsoft have negligently and/or maliciously created a process which fucks people over 2. That maliciousness is not directed at Wireguard or VeraCr

It is a pity because your offering was much better than Github Actions. Good luck with your future projects!

They probably get more engagement at those platforms. Quality is often more important than quantity when it comes to impressions.

Even the posts which had to do with technology were flagged so it definitely felt more like Elon bots or Elon fanboys than something organic.

Not really, their target audience is much more likely to hang out on Mastodon and Bluesky. So even if the impressions might be fewer the quality of them is almost certainly higher.

Isn't this just generally a big issue with the easy access to capital for some companies? OpenAI has so much capital they can just buy random small companies at so high prices the owners cannot say no.

Sad news: Cirrus CI will shut down effective Monday, June 1, 2026. Cirrus CI is the best Ci solution I have used and it was relied on by many open source communities. What will you move to if you are a Cirrus user?
