So to save confusion over a mere factor of two, you're proposing devoting an entire new Greek letter to just double a constant, and requiring students to understand pi anyway to make sense of hundreds of years of mathematical and scien

I've heard yesterday that the referendum itself is non-binding, and that Parliament is still in charge of the final decision. Further Parliamentary lawmakers are supposedly mostly pro-Remain, so given the slim margin of victory it'

I've long felt that the utility of learning to code was less about vocational training but more about analytical thinking. Ie, figuring out how to solve problems by analysing a task and breaking it into small and discrete bite-size pie

The HN title is quite a misleading alteration of the actual title. There's no mention that the startup "refused" the buyout, and it was unclear why the negotiations fell apart. The actual article is simply titled "Tesla

The click-baity title of that Fortune article you linked is misleading vs what he's actually saying. The title refers to cuts in positions in the UK , but these would actually move to continental Europe in the case of a Brexit. His ow

What exactly do you mean by "regular physics"? Do you mean classical physics, optionally including classical field theory (ie, General Relativity)?

Reminds me of the good ol' days, where televisions had rabbit-ears antennae. Sometimes on a channel with bad reception, just touching the antenna to adjust would improve the signal due to the human body acting as a weakly-coupled exten
