Sweet, the WebKit inspector has had this in the nightlies for a while. I like how this displays the source code inline, though. WebKit just displays the event object, which is a bit more awkward.

Really? I think everyone reading Hacker News is capable of searching Google and pasting the text into the first result. I apologize to this startup for the hordes of tech illiterate people I am sending to gum up their application process.

I think the hostility is because it's a very cocky thing to say coming from a tiny startup. It's like a small, indie band saying "we only let people join who have released famous songs".

This is one of those cases where the title of the article really says it all.

The fact that copyright used to last for N years in 1909 is irrelevant. Whether or not a law used to exist should not determine whether or not a law should exist, for obvious reasons (slavery, universal suffrage, mandatory military service

Scaling, converting to a PNG, and uploading the resulting image is trivial in WebKit. As for accessing the camera hardware to take a picture, that requires an API from Apple, which I thought you implied existed. :)

One of my pet peeves is articles that idolize autism like this. Most people with autism are severely developmentally delayed. Autistic savants that you often hear about in the media are extremely rare. "As a general view, they have excell
