   This is a special case, it is a privileged application that is getting more permissions then normal ones. Therefore they don't want you to load code from the internet and run it on peoples phones.

    I just wanted to say that we do far more dangerous stuff with the radiation and nobody demands we should isolate those until we understand what is going on. But when it comes to GMO people suddenly are terrified, that is what confuses me.

    Back then I also was working on a Facebook app, not only working but I even finished it. You were find restaurants in whole europe and book a table right from facebook inviting your friends and stuff. We were just kicking in the advertising

    I'm not quite sure about that, people feel quite intimidated when they see how this government treats people like Snowden and Manning. I would argue that the self-censorship is one way to avoid being treated like them.

    I almost don't mind releasing my code public domain (and in fact I often do that) but lately I was thinking about if there is a license I could use which forbids the usage of my code for weapons, and now with all the NSA stuff perhaps

    I switched last December and do exactly that and am very happy with that solution.
