Thanks Jeff, better documentation and explanation materials are something we need to put together for the current project we're working on also. It's a consumer app but the same issue applies - we get a lot of support tickets comi

Congrats on the launch! In a previous life I worked on a media SaaS startup. We never solved onboarding. The customers ranged from small independent and solo publishers through to global media companies. It didn't matter the size of th

Another long-term T1 here. This is one of the best posts I've read describing how hard it is. The only thing I'd add after a couple of decades... the psychological side gets harder and harder as fatigue sets in, and you have to ke

100% agree. The more people working on this and building different features and trying different approaches the better. The more new search engines, the more everyone innovates, the better for the whole world. It is deeply unhealthy to have

This could also be a perverse incentive reflected algorithmically (whether on purpose or not). Google has better data and makes more money when users are identified. So they have a vested interest in making users think that they will get wo

I love the HN view too - it is compact, efficient and information dense. I think it works well for search results. And I love HN so it seemed like a neat homage :) Thank you for trying it out and the great feedback too. There hasn't be
