It would cost them time. There's no reason to suspect that just because they've dialed in the application that they aren't tuning the process. Try to remember that sour grapes make good wine. Prove them wrong.

I think, in general, that there are likely a bunch of unmet needs that are fairly obvious to women, and less so to men. Because of this, I think that women entrepreneurs have an advantage in seeing these earlier. When you see a dominant he

I know. I think you're missing the point. The fact that one may make an informed decision does not change the fact that many make uninformed decisions and judge the situation based on their perception rather than independent reality. This

Your level of knowledge in administration is not common. PHP wins on deployment because every $5 host your average beginner programmer uses already has PHP on it, and deploy is just ftp/sftp. By comparison, a beginner in python will proba

I had this same frustration and same implementation idea -- proxy is awesome because any client can easily gain features by a checkbox pref "Use proxlet". I never pursued it because I wasn't sure how I could sustain it -- I asked my heavy-t

I wish this weren't true. We all need to be pushing towards 3, and I think introducing people to 2 isn't helping the community in general -- but it is the right thing on an individual level.

Cool -- if you're new to Python, you may not be familiar with Dave's work. He's awesome. Consistently one of the best presentations at each PyCon. @rguzman - do you know who runs hnofficehours.com? I found some bugs. :-/

Title is a bit misleading. This is a front-end to libpcap, and can be used for hijacking any token-based-auth, not just HTTP. It just happens that they released w/ support for social networks as a demonstration.

FWIW, non-JS is still a vector. For example, img tags can stomp on cookies. Yes, serving static media over SSL is diminishing returns, and it would suck for mid-stream proxies (and every ISP will hurt from it). But don't argue that it do

To be clear, that tutorial was made in 2007, so is a bit dated. Also, it shows how to set up FF to use the proxy, but the idea of a tunnel is not FF-specific, nor is this vulnerability. One big issue with SSH-tunnel as a solution is that

Times like this, I wish I could down-vote. GoDaddy is popular, but it's a terrible service, has underhanded billing, foists misfeatures on unaware domain purchasers, and uses sexist advertising. http://nodaddy.com/#horror I recommend Gand
