I'm learning to code for the fun of it, and this year I want to learn about Assembly programming, Embedded Systems Bare Metal programming, as well as improve my C programming. (I enjoy low-level stuff). I hope to get good enough to con

Silly me! I should have realized (or remembered) that it's a Fujitsu product. It's just the name "Fujitsu" isn't on the machine anywhere, so I tend to forget (just double-checked, and no name on the outside!) Thanks

I'm curious why you moves from ScanSnap (which I use) to a Fujitsu. Just time for an upgrade, or do you prefer some newer feature(s)? I use my ScanSnap with OCR turned on and haven't had any problems, but I'm always looking f

I had enjoyed and even paid for Evernote for several years, until their "restructuring" and they dropped the export of everything but "Evernote Database"... I think they have since restored an export to HTML, but that al

I read in fits and spurts. I read a bit after work, sometimes at lunch, and definitely before bed each night. Weekend, if I'm not otherwise busy, I'll read for a couple hours as well. Even in fits and spurts it adds up quickly!

I've read over fifty books this year (I read a lot). The ones I've enjoyed the most are: * The MurderBot Series (Wells) - So good I read them all twice through * The Interdependency Series (Scalzi) - Creative and fun, but I di

These were so enjoyable I read them all straight through twice. I'm now reading through the Japanese translation of them as well. (Which, unfortunately, isn't as funny as the original.)

Just to continue the discussion. I personally see no problem deleting 1-star "review-bombed" reviews. But to remove 4-star reviews (and others) as well? It seems very odd...

It appears that IMDB is hiding or deleting reviews under 5/10 for Amazon's new "Lord of the Rings" series. Several people are reporting their own reviews have now disappeared as well... EDIT -- Edited the Title for a bit

I was wondering about that, too. I straight up asked my students here in Japan (College, 1st year) what apps they couldn't live without, and it was almost completely YouTube, Line, and TikTok. I've never even heard of Zenly... nor

Sorry for the very late reply, but thank you so much! I'm very glad to hear you have a machine (and OS) that you are happy with. I'll definitely check it out for myself! Thanks again!

I've been pondering doing something similar myself. If you don't mind my asking, which Lenovo did you get and which Linux variant does it seem to play nice with? :-)

Completely agree. I really enjoyed it -- graphics, overall concept, and love the soundtrack. Of course it has its quirks and plot holes, but I enjoy it nonetheless. :)
