Or if you do, resist the urge to impose your Puritan values on your employees while making an attempt to understand the local culture/environment.

Reading this thread is such a trip down nostalgia lane. NFL 2K (or maybe 2K1) was my first football game ever, and I have such good memories of playing it with my friends. Pity it had to die an early death, just like the Dreamcast.

I've mentioned this before, but I'm surprised that more companies aren't looking at opening a satellite office in Reno. 4 hour drive to SF, 1 hour flight, and it's half an hour away from Tahoe.

I would say that the next logical place is Instagram stories. Instagram is already used as a more permanent & curated version of Snapchat, and Instagram atories is basically Snapchat stories, but within the Facebook walled garden.

Point #3 just kills me. I really dislike how home ownership has become the equivalent of an investment account. It's a shame that the housing market has received such favorable tax treatment.

I don’t think that taxes play as much of a role as the author thinks they do. Sure, the recent tax bill limits deductions, but as long as the taxpayer values the amenities provided by living in a HCOL area more than the cost of said taxes,
