My bet is that the US wants them to try to use the technology to either a.) get another Stuxnet into their computers while they download data from it, or b.) see them try to use it and ultimately embarrass themselves in the process.

Android has been blocked in China? Since when? I'm sure the 4,000-odd employees of Motorola in China developing Android phones for sale in China would disagree with you...

I think there is little to no correlation between a programmer being "employable" and their level of education. I have no (finished) degrees from any universities, however, I've been employed time and time again, and I continue to innovate

This will allow us to provide more real-time data to users without having to worry about going over our limit. Thanks, Linode!

Agreed, and there are many cases where a robot will remember to do such things for me before I will even think about it (artificial intelligence) whereas I may forget to book my ticket, or I may look in my refrigerator at dinner time just t

This is a pretty good post, but I think a lot of these things can be said of any start up, not just of a startup going through YC. Interesting read, though. Can't wait to try myself.

For me, I have come to this realization after making a move to a large company (Motorola Mobility) from a small one. I have been working for them for two months, and I am already hating it. Being placed in China puts a whole additional laye

I wonder if one could get these to work for other browsers as well, or what is the browser degradation method for SSEs?

Yeah, but are there any performance improvements? I'll be waiting to see the blog posts about it that are undoubtedly forthcoming.

I completely agree with the last line here. All too often I hear about people saying "I will miss my friends/coworkers/boss/family [if I leave my job]". Life is too short, and they'll move on. Just do it.
