XML Schema, unfortunately, won out over RelaxNG ( https://relaxng.org/ ) which has a much more solid mathematical basis and (in my opinion) is much more direct and simple than XML Schema.

XML with RelaxNG ( https://relaxng.org/ ) would have made life so much better than using XML Schema, but, as they say, that ship has long since sailed.

Not specifically bad art, but the Collection de l’Art Brut in Lausanne ( https://www.artbrut.ch/en_GB ) is quite amazing. The art is by people on the fringes of society “unfettered by cultural and/or social conditioning”

On this page: http://headachecomix.com/about , the image headache1big.jpg is 1584 x 2153 and has a size of 3,594,579 bytes. This takes a long time to download on a slow connection. This is definitely bad UX, but I seriously

Yes. At times I would like to be able to use italics in a code block to emphasize some portion of the code, and that seems very difficult, if not impossible, to do. I realize this would conflict with automatic syntax highlighting, which is

It looks very nice indeed. Is this open source, and if so, is there a link to where I can see it?

This is one of the things I liked so much about XML; you could have a single document and use XSLT to generate a web page or (via XSL-FO) a nicely-formatted print document.

I have never liked the “make a sandwich” task. It sets people up for failure, because the teacher can always take things literally enough to make the student wrong. (For example, when given the instructions: "Take out two slices of bre

One thing I have found useful but difficult to do in both markdown and AsciiDoc: I have a block of code, and I want to highlight, say, a variable name by making it italic or bold. Or, I have several lines that have changed from one example
