yes and no. There's malware out there that can get credentials from browser password stores. So, I agree that an external password manager introduces an additional attack surface, but it partially removes one as well.

I agree that better contractual language could be valuable for business continuity on the employeer's side. But, state vs federal laws and precedent would probably make that pretty difficult to enforce in lots of locales.

my standard comment: "the wine team is comprised solely of sorcerers and wizards". I know its not, but sometimes Wine still seems like magic.

"just share the public key" doesn't solve firewall, nat, etc network issues that might be a barrier. If you went that route, you'd likely want something like ngrok too.

My general rule of thumb is, unless your work environment is really causing a big negative impact on your life, time your exit so it doesn't screw someone else's life up even more. That said, the end of a project during or after a

man, try 1password or enpass. The user experience across windows/osx/android/ios is so much better than last pass ever was for me, and they don't host my data. Linux support is iffy and unofficial at best though.

The depth and breadth of all the sub-genres of metal is really pretty shocking, even for people that have listened to it all their lives. I have a slightly loose definition of metal, so in my mind I can go from Blackened Thrash/Death f

I have an Etsy store, but I don't push it and really need to just close it. Etsy had massive screwups with the first and only order I got from there (I immediately stopped trying to use it). It took like 6 days for customer's paym

this is a ridiculous suggestion price wise, but check out custom IEMs. They are expensive as hell, but I have no issue spending money on something I use for HOURS every single day. Sound quality is often much much better too.

In linux land, there is Teleport, which is relatively new. There are probably some other options, but I liked the POC I did with teleport, it just needs to mature a hair. In windows land.....I've got nothing, hence the problem. - http
