There's no solution for this short of a revolution in free real-world education and something like apprenticeships.

Evolutionary design doesn't just work, it's the only kind of design there is. Design is not done in a vacuum. We fool ourselves when we write software, thinking that we're creating something ex-nihilo, plopping it down in Ede

I get the sense that you think that rioters are "just bad people" or something like that? Is that correct? They are genetically predisposed or something?

Americans also have a uniquely individualistic philosophy of life. They are big on "personal responsibility" and free will. I see lots of people with no sympathy for people who are caught up in the justice system, based on a belie

I'm sure there are some disparities in the way men and women are prosecuted and sentenced, but doesn't the bulk of the difference in incarceration by sex come from the difference in criminal behavior by sex?

Wouldn't insurance rates just go down in general? Car insurance would be incredibly streamlined with self-driving cars.

Self-driving cars will still have manual controls, for all of the minutiae at the beginning and end of a trip (mostly to do with parking).

A few Chinese places will do the work to make their food travel well. It's all about ventilation to keep crispy things crispy. I've seen some pretty elaborate setups with foil, cardboard, and paper bags that did the trick. I'

Energy is fungible. Eating less can result in the same caloric deficit as exercise over a "normal" diet. Since fasting itself has some health benefits, it's probably better to do any exercise at all while reducing food intake
