Once did a project like this, I wanted to make a pair of glasses that blocked facial recognition. Tried using leds to blind the camera without blinding others and worked a bit with making weird graphics like this to confuse the algorithm. M

I was in Japan a few weeks ago, iirc onigiri was ~120yen at 7-11, which was less than a dollar. So yes with a dollar you could buy more than you could 10 years ago

Last summer I wrote some software to coordinate Reddit bots to do this [0]. It was pretty cool watching it go. A combination of the API change and my innate hatred of ads made me stop working on it however. 0: https://github.com&

I think this picture actually shows that the way it's meant to be used is really unintuitive. How can you see that and not agree it's a confusing design?

I agree, it's worked well for Google/Alphabet On top of that, I feel like the name Mozilla doesn't have half the positive name-recognition Firefox does.

Seems geared towards spoken audio, any work being done in terms of music enhancement? I have some old band recordings that I would love to get cleaned up

Fake work is working on things that seem cool or useful, but don't actually contribute to success. Examples: 0) On my company's mobile site, the navigation header wasn't centered. I almost spent time fixing it until I realize

Hi, I'm in a similar position as you. 9 to 5, working on my MVP after hours. Basically, working on this has replaced all of my TV and movie watching, and some hobbies. I'm able to do about 5hrs during the week and about 10hrs duri

Like what? As someone who likes VR, Meta's ecosystem seems like the most boring. Also, if you're able to put any trust in Facebook at this point, I'll just say:'fool me twice'. For me, trust arrives on foot and leav

Could someone please explain why it's so bad to do this? Who cares if the site went down for a bit? He could unplug ALL the servers, forever and permanently, if he really wanted to. He bought them! I understand that some user data is i

Me too. Really like USB-C. My only problem is that I wish it was easier to tell what cables can do what things. Only some of my cables are able to connect to displays/power my laptop

True. Thats is pretty annoying. Maybe they should color code them like USB-3 having the blue?

You can use ios17 today, it works great

I felt the same way, until I got an iPhone without it. It’s truly unnecessary in 2023. If you really need a headphone jack, the adapters work great. Otherwise, AirPods are 100x better than wired.

Same. Siri is slightly better on ios17 but still isn’t as good as it could be if it used an LLM
