There are so many things wrong with just using market cap as a proxy for success. A better measure (if you want to use equity prices) would be change in share price during the tenure of the CEO relative to their industry peer group. I think

I don't think anybody who's informed about crypto economics (especially coin supply) will honestly claim that BTC or ETH should ever be used as a currency rather than a store of value or a utility token.

That's not true at all. Central banks have tried to stoke inflation for close to a decade now without success. The reason behind the current rise is just what the article mentions: "poor weather, increased demand and virus-mangled

You can write smart contracts which are upgradable (by moving the assets/tokens to a new address with new code). The upgrade to a different contract can either be triggered by votes or by the author depending on the setup.

Then why do people buy paintings? They could just own a photograph. Don't tell me it's because they appreciate the subtle brush strokes or the smell of the oil paint. It's because they want their name to be associated with a

There's just more money that you can raise if you go down the traditional IPO way. ICO tokens can be very lucrative too (check out BNB) but there's a lot more regulatory uncertainty around them. Plus fund raising is crazy at the m

I think you are reading too much into it. That's just how the justice system works. You don't have to prove your innocence, you have to prove someone's guilty.

I'm not arguing - I'm making a statement. It's evident from market prices that investors don't care. Whether the market should care is another discussion but the parent asked about the market's reaction.
