This sounds like a web site idea in it self. "Announce" launches with firm commitments to a beta user community, and everyday you can go see what was supposed to "launch" that day, and give feedback. It'll put the pressure of public failure

You guys know a group of crows is called a Murder, right? I'd hate to work somewhere where I could only use stuffy, politically correct software names. Call me crazy, but quirky software names are half the reason I release a project.

it abstracts out the hunt for the embed code for a particular resource, just give them the url and get back an embed code.
