The issue is not the app getting the fingerprint data, but rather literally baiting your finger onto the reader and then switching to a Touch ID subscription prompt under your finger?

The loss may be unrealized, but it would still be reflected in the market value of the company's assets, just not in the book value. The book value will still reflect the purchase price, but a massive deviation between book and market

Exactly, the structure and subdivision of local government is quite different. The ‘City of Sydney’ has only about 200,000 people in it [1] despite the population in the entire metropolitan areas being similar to that of Seattle’s. [1] htt

If they are going to replace words that some people consider loaded, they could simply replace “slave” with “servant”. Then the previous technical meaning of “master”/“slave” (e.g. Parrallel ATA interface) is preserved, but the meaning

Not at all. Someone has to write all the software, and they're not going to be writing it on an iPad. Even with an external mouse and keyboard.

Yes. The chiller unit consumes 1kW to move 1.7kW of heat off the CPU. It then has to dissipate 2.7kW.

Citation. People throw around fantastical, ever-increasing numbers (250k, 400k, 500k, now a million) in these threads, but never any hard data. How many is “plenty”? I argue that it would be exceptionally few, if any.
